What:
Community Solar is rapidly emerging as a way to expand solar access and
capacity across the United States. This event will address the potential of community
solar to improve energy sustainability, security, and affordability, as well as associated
benefits and challenges. Specific case studies from California, Hawaii, and Minnesota will
be examined, and policy recommendations for community solar in New Jersey will be
proposed.
Who:
The discussion will be led by students from a graduate policy workshop at
Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, and will
include participation from workshop instructors Jeanne Fox, former President of the New
Jersey Board of Public Utilities, and Anne Hoskins, Chief Policy Officer at Sunrun and
former Maryland Public Service Commissioner. All interested parties are encouraged to
attend.
